Bioinformatics day on Friday, April 7th at CSC – IT Center for Science, Keilaranta 14, Espoo.
The Bioinformatics day, the main event of the Finnish Bioinformatics society, will be held this year at CSC – IT Center for Science, located in Espoo. The program will consist of talks, a poster session, the annual society meeting, and an informal evening get-together in the centre of Helsinki.
The registration fee is 10 euros for basic level students and 25 euros for others. The fee also covers the society membership for 2017. Pay the fee to the society’s account with the following details and then fill in the registration form.

- Open Spaces
In this session everyone can propose any topic of their interest they wish to discuss with others. Others can then join (or freely move between the groups) and just listen or participate any discussion group. The group leader (the one who proposed the topic) will take notes and at the end of the session the main points of the discussion will be summarized to everyone. Topics can be suggested with the registration form or during the day.
16.30 – 17.30 Annual meeting of the society and meeting of the new board
Topics determined by the society law and the society’s rules are covered in the annual meeting. In addition to this updating the society’s rules will be handled.
18.00 -> Casual get-together at Bruuveri located in the shopping centre Kamppi in the centre of Helsinki (Fredrikinkatu 63) which is at the same time the Biobeer event of the month.
All participants are encouraged to bring a poster presenting their work. There maybe also a couple of 10 minute slots available for general level topics, so please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to inform the community about a topic of interest.
